Agency History
Our agency was founded in the mid 1890's by Earl Ashbury. Upon his death, the agency was carried on by his son Earl Jr. The agency was sold to Moses Eckert in 1940. Mr. Eckert also purchased the Robert Ruth Agency in 1950.
Russ Warma purchased the Moses Eckert Agency in 1971, changing the name to the Eckert Agency. Mr. Warma also purchased the Helen V. Betram Agency, formerly the Ernest Smiley Agency.
Dave Witter started his insurance career in 1972. Joining Russ Warma in 1976, they formed the Warma-Witter Insurance Agency, Inc.
John Kreisler, our president, started his insurance career in 1970 as a claims adjuster for a large insurance carrier. He quickly assumed responsibility for handling litigated type claims. In 1973, he moved to the agency side of that company.
On January 1, 1979 Warma-Witter Insurance merged with Kreisler-Wilson Insurance to form Warma-Witter-Kreisler & Associates, Inc.
Brad Kreisler joined the agency in 1999 successfully handling a wide variety of responsibilities. Brad is now our agency's Vice President.
In October of 2009, Warma Witter Kreisler Gregov & Associates, Inc was formed when Steve Gregov joined the agency, bringing with him more than 20 years of insurance related experience.
