Al Orelt graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Shortly after graduation he joined "The Equitable" Insurance Company where he attained the title of Assistant District Manager.
In 1986 Al joined the Warma Witter Kreisler Insurance Agency as the Life & Health Specialist.
In 1998 Al earned his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. This designation gives an advisor a better understanding of a variety of insurance products. Advisors must complete five required courses, plus one course on ethics, and then pass a final examination. Al also has taken on the task of instructor for the Life Underwriting Training Council (LUTC). He has taught classes on Employee Benefit, Life and Health topics.
Al is actively involved with many insurance industry organizations, and he is the Past President of the East Side Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Southern Illinois Association of Health Underwriters and the Metro East Independent Insurance Agents.
Al is an active member of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce acting as it's Chairman for the Ambassadors Club.
Al currently is the Belleville West High School Club Ice Hockey Coach. He has coached both the varsity and junior varsity teams for 4 years.
Al & his wife Dawn enjoy camping, boating and traveling. Al and Dawn have two children, Jessica & Jon.
