He also has presided as the Chairman of the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board. This Board is responsible for investigating charges of judical misconduct for the 900 judges in the State of Illinois. He was appointed by Governor Ryan in 2002 and reappointed by Governor Blagojevich.
John has served as a Deputy Coroner for St. Clair County since 1984. He has sat on numerous other boards and commissions throughout the metro east area.
He enjoys reading and boating. When time permits he enjoys the Lake of the Ozarks with his wife Peggy.
